Some questions for all of you people:

Imagine you are person A, and you were wooing person B before he/she got attached to someone else:

would you ask B out to have dinner with you alone irregardless of his/her attached status?
would you keep asking even though he/she has repeatedly rejected you?
would you gather other friends to go out because B told you he/she will only go out if there are others going?
would you tell B to just dump his/her partner?
would you even say it as a joke, when they have been together for pretty long, and you don't even know the partner?

If anyone answered yes for any of the abovementioned, then

what do you think your motives are?
what do you take his/her partner for?
what makes you think you have the right to say such stuff?
how would you feel if you were in his/her partner's shoes?
how can you be so thoughtless and insensitive?
how come you are not dead yet?

Now I know there could be many other reasons why person A did whatever he/she did, but I'm entitled to my own opinion. So if you are person A, I think you are one big bloody piece of shit. And so before you get yourself into trouble, maybe you can try killing yourself first.

Random Feelings

I feel:
that Uni life is no longer what it used to be.
that people change, no matter what they say.
that I should integrate myself into my lab.
that if an apple is rotten, just cut away the inedible part and eat the rest.
that once you allow yourself to slack off, it's pretty damn hard to buck up again.
that maybe a cat in Singapore has a better life.
that because you are a guy, you should act like one most of the time.
that Singaporeans don't care enough, me included.
that we should all embrace our feelings when we can.
that I can be so illogical sometimes.
that Prof Rudolph Meier is a pretty nice guy, though he claims to be overbearing.
that our planet will die within my lifespan.
that she is the one.

1st day back in NUS as a Honours student officially. not that i was in lab or anything, but i felt pretty old. like ancient. only had a lecture from 4-6pm. LSM4252 Animal Development and Reproduction... i'm not even officially in the lecture group yet. appealing cause i didn't meet the pre-req for the module. well i understand why the pre-req was needed, cause i couldn't understand half the shit Prof Hong Yunhan was talking about. So dead...

before that, had a sit down with DnD program head Weiheng, incidentally my junior back in Chinese High. he was updating me on my role as an emcee for DnD bash and the actual dinner itself. well it's been a while since i touched hosting/emceeing, so i hope i can do a good job..

was sitting in the clubroom after lecture today, and i felt strangely out of place... as though suddenly, i wasn't really a welcome figure in it anymore. I dun feel the coziness, the warmth, and the friendliness in clubroom anymore. maybe cause i knowingly drifted away i guess...

Year 4 seems destined to be a lonely year, since all my close friends are all in Biomed concentration while i'm the only idiot in Bio concentration. gosh i miss those year 3 days....

So we ended the day at Changing Appetites in Marina Square. And in case you didn't notice, we still have our red tees and tattoos on! Man we are sooooo PaTrioTiC~

It's the last day of the 3 months long holidays. My Honours year will begin in earnest and i can no longer slack like i used to. Hopefully, my decision to continue Uni will be proven right. As Prof Meier my co-supervisor said, it's a worthy trade-off for the rest of your career to have this...

National Day 2007 9th August at Marina Bay.
On this important day of our young nation, 2 very special people will be attending the parade.
They will light up the stands, immerse themselves into the patriotism, and fully enjoy the experience.
Though it would not be the first time joining in the celebration for one of them, it would definitely not be the last.
Yup, Me and dearie will be going for NDP2007. =)

NUS SEP, a chance to experience the overseas studying environment. Be it Australia, England, America or even Israel, this program allows you to immerse into a totally different education culture. This is one minor regret i have on my University education life, because i failed to plan for it. Well Singapore isn't all that bad for me, so it's kinda not a must that i fly over so somewhere to study. However, i strongly encourage everyone to try it out, if not for a semester, then at least a summer.
